Our Valued SOUND Customers,

Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world.  For SOUND, we are focused on how our customers, their clients and our employees are impacted in this trying time.  We are implementing the necessary adjustments in our operations to ensure that we can service your imaging needs while maintaining the safety and well-being of employees.  Following are our guidelines for workstreams that we will follow in efforts to minimize the impact to your business.

We will closely follow the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines as well as state and federal requirements on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus.  The business operations you can expect from SOUND include the following;

The Corporate Office, Customer Support and Repair Operations Centers will remain fully operational, we have established work from home protocols.  We will work 24/7 to ensure we manage all cases and support needs expediently.

Shipping will be available for any new or replacement equipment or accessory shipments as required.  Any emergencies will receive TOP priority and additional staff and resources will be made available on a case by case basis.

Sales remains operational and remote on-line demonstrations and access to information is available if needed.

Field operations (Sales, Service, Install, Training) have various levels of disruption.  Air travel restrictions are in place for our employees and 3rd party support staff.  Local travel is based upon critical need and affected by our clients practice policies and access.

Installations and Service visits involving long distance travel may be delayed, as an alternative, we are offering remote training and service options for those with immediate needs.

Local Field Support where possible will still be available with acknowledgement and agreement of all parties involved.

Ultrasound Training and Education our Academy of Veterinary Imaging is postponing classes thru mid April at the main location in Arlington Texas and various regional locations.  The re-start date for this has not been determined and we monitor week to week in the interim. As with installation services, remote tele-training will be available if needed.
