President
Tom Jacobi has served as the President of Sound® Technologies since 2012, after serving as Sr VP, Global Sales and Marketing for over 6 years. Tom served in the USMC at MAG-24 Kaneohe, Oahu and Brooke Army Medical Center and Walter Reed MC in Washington, DC where he completed his Radiology Sciences degree specializing in Diagnostic Ultrasound. Tom’s commercial work began in 1990 with Toshiba Medical Systems in clinical applications, then sales and sales management with Siemens Acuson in Michigan before joining Sound™ Technologies in 2002.
Sr. Vice President, Controller
Alexandra Senecal oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis functions at SOUND®. Alex joined SOUND® in 2006 as Assistant Controller and has worked closely with senior leadership since her arrival.Alexandra spent most of her career in the software industry including roles at HP, Peregrine, and Macromedia who was later acquired by Adobe. Passionate about technology and animals, the move to SOUND® was a natural fit. She has over 15 years of experience building and leading accounting teams in technology companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Resourceful & innovative, she always searches for new ways to improve the accounting & operational functions and elevate best practices. Alexandra holds a master’s degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading technical books, hiking, and exploring new fun activities.
Vice President, Commercial Operations
Responsible for Research & Development, Production, Installation, and Technical Support and Service Teams. Cameron is responsible for Sound’s 13,000 and growing veterinary clients worldwide in all aspects of product lifecycle and support. In 2005, Cameron began his tenure at Sound. Over the last 17 years he has worked in several key areas of the business to include: Field applications, Project, and Product Management. He has also directly managed Customer Support and Research & Development. During his time spent in Research & Development, Sound is credited with the number one selling Digital Radiography system to date and the industry first, elevator system in a portable equine product. His committed leadership and goal to create a collaborative workforce is key to Sound. Huh!? Why end with that? In simpler terms every employee should see, deliver, and improve the flow of value to our customers.
Sound® has decade plus, long-standing relationships and exclusive agreements with the industry’s most prominent original equipment manufacturers of digital radiography detector panels, ultrasound systems and image processing platforms. We partner with our vendors and customers for long-term success. This careful process is built into everything we do.
Sound® is dedicated to educating veterinarians on state-the-art technology and business best-practices. Our experience over the last 15 years distributing diagnostic imaging equipment and supporting clinicians throughout that equipment’s life-cycle has taught us enough to be experts in our domain.
As an avenue to share this expertise with the veterinary community, we are continually compiling unbiased, practical resources that cover topics across the full breadth of imaging, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
