    Who should attend:

  • Veterinarians who wish to learn an overview of ultrasound and MRI imaging (MRI included in the June and October dates only) of equine fore and hind limb tendons, ligaments and joints.

    Course objectives:

  • What, when and why of ultrasound equipment controls
  • Recognition of normal ultrasound limb anatomy
  • Introduction to pathology and differential diagnoses of common injuries and diseases
  • Hands-on scanning of fore and hind limbs

    June and October course objectives also include:

  • Introduction of normal MRI limb anatomy
  • Introduction to pathology and differential diagnoses of common injuries and diseases
  • Integrated ultrasound and MRI case studies and discussions

*CE credit hours are subject to regulatory review by state and may change without notice.  Course meets the requirements for noted number of hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education.
